FIELD NOTES

Entry One - Nemesis Twin

Aug 21st, 2025 - Jack told me he wanted a performance twin with real versatility—multiple channels, extra drive, the works. That’s where the Nemesis Twin was born.

We started with a more classic shortboard outline. The goal was to give it that aggressive, high-performance look and feel—not your typical cruisey twin-fin vibe. We added a bit more nose rocker too, pushing the design toward a modern, progressive shortboard.

But flip the board over… and that’s where things get interesting.

I pitched Jack on a new approach: instead of the multiple, narrower channels we’d go with three medium-width channels—something totally different from anything else we’ve ever seen. He was stoked, and we got straight to work.

I shaped the first prototype for myself to dial in this new channel design. Once I had it locked, I built Jack’s with a few refinements.

The result? A twin that truly shifts gears. You get all the speed, flow, and freedom twins are known for, but with more drive, more hold, and the ability to attack the pocket like a standard high-performance shortboard.

Entry Two - Peter Osuna

Peter created our original logo back in 2018 from Aaron's hand written note. Since then he has created all our board logos and countless pieces of art. Originally from San Jose, Peter and Aaron met while working at Rip Curl in 2014. A smooth goofy footer himself, he and Aaron have split many peaks over the years and without his art design and direction the Revelry you know today might look very different.
